UVA steps up registration drive, subscription for members

The Uganda Veterinary Association (UVA) has camped at Makerere University since Monday, well ahead of this weeks graduation ceremonies.

The UVA outreach at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal resources and Biosecurity (COVAB)  is mainly targeting the enrolment of 60 graduands of the Bachelor of veterinary medicine. The drive will run until their graduation day Jan 13, and will climax with a cake-cutting welcome ceremony at 7am the same day.

Dr Phiona Katushabe from Wakiso, and Dr Solomon Kiggundu were among the first to make it to the UVA members registration desk at COVAB at Makerere on Monday, and over 20 graduands have already registered. The desk is being manned by Dr. Victoria Mayiga and Karugaba Chriscent of the UVA office.
