The top 3 Veterinary Medicine students at Makerere Univesity – Elizabeth Owemigisha, Polly Nagaba and Alice Namata – have won a cash prize of Sh15 million from Norbrook. They received their cheque,  to be broken down to sh7m, sh5m and sh3m prizes, from the Chancellor Makerere University Prof. Ezra Suruma at this monht’s 73rd Graduation ceremony.

The award is a collaboration between Uganda Veterinary Association, COVAB and Norbrook pharmaceutical company. Norbrook pharmaceutical company will be giving a token of appreciation to the three best Veterinary students every year and this the second year they are giving this cash appreciation.
